Amelie is a romantic comedy from Jean Pierre Jeunet (Delicatessen, City of Lost Children) about a young woman who discreetly orchestrates the lives of the people around her, creating a world exclusively of her own making. Audrey Tautou stars as Amelie, a young waitress in a tiny Paris cafe. Her life changes course when she discovers an old box of childhood treasures hidden beneath her apartment floorboards, anonymously returns it to its rightful owner, and watches from a distance as his life is transformed by the discovery.
