Lisa has worked as a producer of broadcast and theatrically released drama and documentary for over 10 years. After completing an Honours Degree in Linguistics at the University of Western Australia she moved to Sydney where she tutored in Media and Communications at the University of NSW and Macquarie University. Lisa produced her first short film at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, Range of Experience Inc.
Since then she has produced several documentaries for the ABC and SBS, including Sexing the Label, a funny and confronting film by Anna Bronowski (Anna and Jeremy went through NIDA together) which was released theatrically winning a number of awards both locally and internationally. Lisa has produced several short dramas including the indigenous half hour drama “Road”, which also enjoyed a theatrical season as part of the AFC’s On Wheels program.
Lisa’s association with Greg Duffy began at primary school in Perth where she envied his curly blonde hair. After being re-acquainted in the offices of his entertainment law firm ten years ago, they have gone on to produce many short films together. Lisa teaches Film and Television at the Eora Centre Aboriginal TAFE in Redfern and is currently completing her MA researching Australian film making culture.
